Positive: Charming cabin in a remote area. Exactly what we were looking for. There was a bit of driving involved to get there, but we did not mind. Communication with the owners prior to the trip was very good, they made sure we found the cabin easily. The location is close enough for trips to the glacier lagoon, the Golden Circle, Selfoss, Vestmanneyjar island the black beach and Hella, where one can catch the highland busses for day trips into the mountainous areas. Still so much we missed to visit, so we might have to come back. Spacious rooms which are perfect for a family of 4 or 5, very comfortable beds, clean bathroom and kitchen with all necessary supplies. We could not ask for more. There even was an outdoor grill and a jacuzzi, but we did not get the chance to use it (we've been out quite a lot). And nothing beats early morning coffee on the terrace while enjoying the magnificent view and the birds singing <3

Positive: We loved our stay here. It is remote and peaceful, yet just a short drive to route 1. We enjoyed amazing views of the nearby glacier from the deck and the horses which roam the field. The inside is small but comfortable even for our family of 4 adults. The beds are very comfortable and the kitchen is well stocked with pots and pans. The hosts, who live part time in the house also on the property, are very nice and helpful.

Positive: Everything. I was really happy with the location. Also, the facilities the cabin was really nice. The view was very nice from the cabin. The host were extremely nice and were very accommodating to our family. Probably one of the best experiences.

Positive: Nice to use the hot tub at the end of the day. Beautiful landscapes to look at while soaking.
Negative: The bathroom and kitchen are both very small. The whole cottage is very cosy and sweet, but the shower and meal preparation were both almost too small to comfortably use.

Positive: Very nice and quiet place to stay. It had a hot tub with a nice view. It had all needed equipment.
Negative: Low water pressure. Most of the lights were not working. Not that we needed them this time of year so it wasn't a big ptoblem. On the second floor not to much space for an adult but for children it should be ok.

Positive: Nice appartment at a remote location. Well situated if you want to visit Landmannalaugur via the easy route; F26&F208 (probably also doable with a 2WD). Large garden, nice hot tub, and two horses that like attention at the premises.
Negative: Apart from the horses, we did not meet anyone there, including the owners (they supposedly are very nice people ;-) ). The second bedroom was at the attick, which had to be reached via a steep ladder. Not really a problem, just don't expect a large sleeping room.
